COVER YOURSELF IN KISSES!
I came up with this design after I made my Pop Art Lip Bag. I thought that lips and kisses would make the perfect combination, so I made a purse to match the bag. But I thought "why stop there, everyone loves kisses ( from the right person of course), so why not make patches and cover yourself in kisses!
Each piece of leather is cut by hand and meticulously fitted together using my unique leather marquetry technique. To emphasize sustainability, I source recycled black leather from damaged garments that would otherwise have ended up in landfill. Only the finest sections of the leather are chosen and carefully cleaned for repurposing.
Once all the leather pieces are assembled, I stitch them together using my trusty companion, 'Gerty', a 1960's Pfaff rolling-foot sewing machine. Finally, I add the finishing touches to bring the piece to life.

Pop Art Pucker Up - Kiss Patch - Orange

Make sure the surface where your patch is to be placed is clean and flat without too much texture. Please note the patch will not stick to heavily textured and fibrous materials like wool or felt.
Peel off the backing paper and stick directly on to the surface and push down firmly. For best results place a heavy object like a heavy book on the patch and leave overnight for the adhesive to cure.
Please note that these patches can not be washed or have heat applied to the surface.
The leather can be gently wiped clean with a slightly damp cloth and allowed to air dry.
In the unlikely event an edge of the patch starts to become detached use a small amount of Super Glue to re-attach.
