I love it when it’s cherry season a real summer treat on long summer days.  I designed this bag based on a  popular necklace design of mine, but making larger made it possible to really make the cherries look juicy
 
This bag is made of pink biker leather, with two card holders on the back of the bag for easy access, and a detachable leather strap. The bag is also fully lined in lilac ostrich pattern lamb leather.
 
The cherries are made using my signature leather marquetry technique. Each piece of leather is cut by hand and meticulously fitted together. To emphasize sustainability, I source recycled black leather from damaged garments that would otherwise have ended up in landfill. Only the finest sections of the leather are chosen and carefully cleaned for repurposing.
 
Once all the leather pieces are assembled, I stitch them together using my trusty companion, 'Gerty', a 1960's Pfaff rolling-foot sewing machine. Finally, I add the finishing touches to bring the piece to life.
