I designed this cross body bag to celebrate the colours of a British summer, with fun-filled summer days at the sea-side playing in the amusements, a stroll up the pier, paddling in the sea and eating ice cream.
 
This is new and improved design, has two card holders into the back of the bag for easy access, with a detachable leather strap and is fully lined in deep yellow leather.
 
The ice cream is made using my signature leather marquetry technique. Each piece of leather is cut by hand and meticulously fitted together. To emphasize sustainability, I source recycled black leather from damaged garments that would otherwise have ended up in landfill. Only the finest sections of the leather are chosen and carefully cleaned for repurposing.
 
Once all the leather pieces are assembled, I stitch them together using my trusty companion, 'Gerty', a 1960's Pfaff rolling-foot sewing machine. Finally, I add the finishing touches to bring the piece to life.
